This spring 2021 (and early summer) did not announce well. Water temperatures around 11 Celsius on lake of Zug did not make it fun to train.
Cold muscles are not ideal to do flips or other complex tricks.
Furthermore travel to warmer destinations such as Florida or Italy are still impossible due to the pandemic situation.
Luckily my friends from Club Nautique de Versoix (CNV), with Coach Kostia Kakorych and Head of Waterski Section Fred Dupanloup gave me the opportunity to join them during their training sessions in Bourg en Bresse in France. In total they hosted me for 3 weeks during this spring. Luckily my school showed flexibility to release me from classes during that time.
Although we partially skied in the snow at the start, the water temperature was much higher than at home.
Training in Bourg is different. While at home at WSC Cham I concentrate on Tricks, Bourg is all about Slalom and I made great progress, thanks so much Kostya.
